Cards, How To

She is more precious

Hello all my followers! How’s everyone doing with all the temporary changes to our lives?

With all these changes in my household, I’m trying to find ways to stay positive and encourage others. I know at least for me, crafting definitely helps. With that, I decided to rejoin Stampin Up and got some gorgeous new stamp sets (more info to come!!).

While looking for inspiration, I searched my emails for fun challenges and came across the Paper Craft Crew #375.

#PCC375

Here’s what I came up with:

The supplies were what I had laying around. I used:

  • 1 A2 sized white card base
  • Black cardstock (5 3/8” by 4 1/8”)
  • White cardstock (5 1/4” by 4”)
  • Melon Mambo ink from Stampin Up
  • Flower punch
  • Rhinestones
  • Echo Park Ephemera

For the flower, I used my ink pad on some white paper to make some Melon Mambo paper and punched out a flower from that. Be careful! I made a MESS!

I got ink on my fingers and on the final card! Good thing handmade cards aren’t perfect 🙂

You can use whatever you have! Swap out the ink for another color, use a different punch, use a stamped sentiment instead of the ephemera. Since we’re all safe at home, use what you have on hand.

Thank you for stopping by!!
